Super Bowl XLIII Prediction

Even though my Raiders are not in the Super Bowl this year, I'm excited to watch this game. The main reason is that the Cardinals have never been to a Super Bowl before and they are playing a team who has been there an won many times. Most people expect the Steelers to run over the Cardinals in a triumphant defensive blood bath of a performance. However I will not be in the least bit surprised if Arizona pulls this one off. The key match up of the game will be the Steelers pass rush against Kurt Warner. If the Steelers put the pressure on Kurt Warner that they have done all season long they can stop this high powered offense. On the other hand, if Kurt Warner has 3 or more seconds to throw the ball, you better believe Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, and Steve Breaston will be open. The Steelers will also need to minimize turnovers and run the ball effectively. Arizona needs to continue to mix up their defenses and run the ball the way they have so far in the post-season. Like I said, I won't be surprised if Arizona wins the game, but I'm still picking Pittsburgh in this one.

Pittsburgh Steelers: 20
Arizona Cardinals: 17
